This policy describes how Rate Finder handles information.

Who we are

This site is operated by Rate Finder.

Information the enquiry form asks for

• Savings amount range, preferred CD term and timing.
• Full name, email address and US phone number.
• Your consent choice.

We do not ask for account numbers, Social Security numbers or payment details.

Cookies and visit information

When measurement is permitted, Google click identifiers (gclid, gbraid or wbraid) and campaign tags (UTM parameters) are kept in your browser for the current session and may be saved with an enquiry. These identifiers are not captured when you refuse or your browser blocks them.

We use Google Ads to measure which visits lead to saved enquiries and to support campaign optimization. Google may receive page, click, cookie and device information. In consent-required regions, or when your location cannot be determined, its tag is blocked until you select Accept. Elsewhere it may load unless you refuse or your browser signals an opt-out. We do not send your name, email or phone number to Google for customer matching.

The Google tag is configured. Only a confirmed, phone-verified, non-test enquiry can send a conversion reference; clicks, code requests and thank-you page visits are not enquiry conversions.

Cookie preferences in the footer lets you accept, reject or withdraw at any time. We retain a browser visitor reference, your choice, timestamp, notice version and country, preserving earlier acceptance when you withdraw. The choice and notice version are also saved with your enquiry. Withdrawal blocks future tracking and clears stored campaign identifiers; it does not undo information already sent. Contact consent is separate from your cookie choice. Google processes information under its Privacy Policy.

Current status

When you send an enquiry, we save your selected preferences, name, email, verified phone number, consent record and ad-click reference. Your phone number is verified by a one-time text-message code sent through our SMS provider.

Phone verification and storage

Phone verification uses MSG91. Your phone number and verification request are processed by MSG91 to send and check a one-time code by text message. Submitting a typed number alone does not verify it.

When enabled, the enquiry service uses Lovable Cloud to store your selected preferences, name, email, phone number, consent wording and version, consent time, verification evidence and campaign attribution. Verification codes are not stored as readable text. A short-lived, HttpOnly session cookie binds verification to the same browser; protected phone and IP identifiers support abuse limits. No recipient delivery is currently configured.

How information will be used and shared

Enquiry details are shared with: A financial advisor working with Rate Finder.

Before contact requests can be enabled, the operator, recipient businesses, permitted contact channels, sharing basis and withdrawal instructions must be confirmed. Verification messages and optional visit measurement are distinct from contact consent.

Retention

Enquiry data retention period: 24 months. After that, enquiry data is deleted.
